Feedback Please for “Blood on the Track”

I hosted the photos for “Blood on the Track” with Flickr as opposed to using my WordPress storage. On my iPad the photos are not automatically re-sizing to fit the reduced size of screen. Is anyone else noticing the photos are not set correctly, either on an iPad or any other platform?

  1. The first two pics are overwriting the text on the right hand side in your widget bar or whatever it is called..
Using Firefox but an old 15″ monitor. This is why I don`t go to Scottish Hills much as folk seem to take great delight in posting pics of a size that makes the text on my monitor disappear of the right hand side πŸ™‚

    1. That’s what’s happening on my iPad Alex 😦 . Seems that photos imported from Flickr are not resizing in WordPress to fit the available boxes. It maybe works with big monitors as you can enlarge the blog to allow the photos to fit.

It’s worse on the iPad using the iPad layout of the blog (as opposed to the standard blog layout that you see on the PC) – most of the photos just don’t appear.

        1. Feck it! I’ve just been reducing photos so you can see the bloody things…and now you go and buy another monitor! Typical.

          Well done Alex πŸ˜€ . Welcome to 2011. πŸ˜‰

  2. Congratulations are in order Ken.)
You have managed to do something that I have never encountered before in making the text run off the left hand side of my screen as opposed to the right hand side πŸ™‚
I doesn`t interfere with the main part of the blog, just the header pic.
I get “Here the fat dog walks” and “atdog broadcasting corporation”
It`s not a problem as such as the blog itself is ok but thought it would give you something to tinker with now that you have time on your hands πŸ™‚
If you`d prefer I can go out and buy a bigger monitor.!

    1. Let me think Alex…which option will I go for? πŸ˜†

That’s what it does on my iPad. The good news about the iPad is that I can configure a new front page specially for that machine. Not sure how to correct in for the pc unless the blog is a flexible width blog. But, given that I don’t want to make the blog width any smaller – you’re just going to have to go and buy yourself a new wider monitor (they do them in colour these days too) πŸ˜€ πŸ˜‰

Found that the blog had some weird quirks in IE explorer – now corrected because I updated to the new version.

So if anyone reading this can see “Where the Fatdog Walks” in black on the header, overwriting the white blocked letters, then you need to update your Internet Explorer.

Now it's your turn...
